Job description
A s a multi-specialty group affiliated with Seton Medical Center Harker Heights, Wellstone Health Partners is searching for a BE/BC general or an advanced endoscopy-trained Gastroenterologist to join an established, employed practice in Harker Heights, Texas (1 hr. N of Austin/2 hr. from Dallas) with a service area of approximately 500,000.
About Your Work:
Wellstone Health Partners (16 physicians / 11 advanced practice providers) operates a specialized GI team consisting of 1 physician with advanced endoscopy training and 2 advanced practice providers
Experienced clinical support staff and a dedicated medical assistant
Flexible Schedule: Up to 5 days per week in the GI laboratory (based on provider preference)
Preferred advanced procedures available, including ERCP and EUS (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography and endoscopic ultrasound)
Located in Harker Heights on the campus of the medical center
Inpatient and Outpatient
Endoscopy laboratory blocks scheduled Monday through Friday mornings, with clinical outpatient visits in the afternoons
On-call coverage: 10 days per month with additional compensation for excess call shifts
