Job description
We have a hospital in Jackson, MI looking to bring on an additional Gastroenterologist to cover 1 week per month for a minimum of 6 months- potential for extension.
SUMMARY OF WORK

Reason for Coverage: Physician shortage; inpatient call coverage needed
Practice Setting: Inpatient/Hospital-Based
Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
Inpatient/Outpatient: 100% Inpatient
Leadership/Teaching: No
EMR: Epic
Trauma Level: Level II
Average Daily Volume: Approximately 8 follow-up patients and 6 8 new consults per day
CLINICAL REQUIREMENTS
Board Certification: Board Certified in Gastroenterology
Fellowship: Gastroenterology fellowship required
ACLS: Required
ERCP: Preferred, but not required
Malpractice/License History: Clean background required; no malpractice or license issues, no exceptions
