Locums - Jackson, Michigan, Gastroenterology Opening
Clinical Role
Target start January 2027Minimum commitment of 1 week per month for at least 6 months throughout 20271 Gastroenterologist needed100% inpatient, hospital-based coverageAdult and geriatric patientsLevel II Trauma Center Schedule & Call
Coverage runs Saturday at 7:00 am through the following Saturday at 6:59 amIn-house coverage from 7:00 am-7:00 pmOvernight pager/beeper coverageCall ratio: 1:4Approximately 2 hours of callback per week Practice Setting & Patient Volume
Approximately 8 follow-up patients per dayApproximately 6-8 new consults per dayEpic EMRNo leadership or teaching responsibilities Requirements & Credentialing
Board Certified in Gastroenterology requiredGastroenterology fellowship requiredACLS requiredERCP experience preferred but not requiredClean background requiredNo malpractice or license issues accepted What's great about Jackson, Michigan?
