Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology
Job Details:
Locum Tenens assignment covering inpatient consults, ED consults, and transfers
ERCP preferred
Board certification required at minimum certified level
ACLS certification required
Trauma Level 3 facility
Required procedural skills include: Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, and injection of varices
ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) preferred, both diagnostic and therapeutic
Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) required
Esophageal dilatation/manometry and esophageal manometry interpretation required
Small bowel biopsy required
Lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy (flexible and rigid), and colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision required
Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) preferred
Liver biopsy required
Insertion and management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube required
