Job Title: Gastroenterology Physician
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $620,000.00 per year.
Overview
Intermountain Health seeks a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to establish its first employed GI team serving Utah Valley.
Compensation & Schedule
Base salary: $620,000.00
7-on/7-off block schedule option (mix inpatient/outpatient)
Work‑RVU bonus above 4,400 per 6 months
Call coverage bonus beyond required 1:5 schedule
$40,000 annual bonus based on specific quality metrics
$18,000 annual training stipend (first 2 years)
$25,000 annual loan‑repayment over 3 years
Up to $20,000 annually via Continuous Improvement bonus
Responsibilities
Practice general gastroenterology, including outpatient and inpatient care.
Optional ERCP and advanced procedures as opportunities arise.
Provide care to patients currently traveling to Salt Lake City.
Qualifications
Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Gastroenterology.
Experience or willingness to perform ERCP and advanced GI procedures.
Strong communication skills and patient‑centered approach.
