1-2 Patients seen on average per 24 hours
Requirements
Active VA License
Upper GI endoscopywith biopsy
with foreign body removal
with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser)
With injection of varices
Esophageal dilatation/manometry
Esophageal manometry interpretation
Small Bowel biopsy
Lower GI endoscopy
SigmoidoscopyFlexible
Rigid
Colonoscopywith biopsy
with excision of polyp
Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
Liver biopsy
Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
Call
