Critical RequirementsActive Virginia (VA) License - REQUIREDGastroenterology experience (inpatient + outpatient mix)EPIC/Athena/Meditech EMR experience - REQUIREDAbility to cover procedures + call - REQUIRED Coverage DatesStart: ASAPEnd: OngoingSpecific need: May 18-22, 2026 Schedule / Coverage ModelScheduled clinical hours + callCall ratio: 1:1Beeper call30-minute response time requiredNight call required every night during coverage Practice SettingHospital + outpatient clinic coverageEndoscopy suite + office clinic + inpatient consultsBeds in department: 4Assigned and unassigned rounding responsibilities Clinical WorkflowEndoscopy procedures:Monday, WednesdayHalf-day ThursdayFriday Clinic visits:TuesdayHalf-day Thursday Inpatient consults + rounding daily as needed Patient Volume20-25 patients per shift Additional NotesOvertime begins after 40 hoursPhysician manages:Endoscopy proceduresOutpatient clinicInpatient consultsNight call coverage Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
