Opportunity:
Physician - Gastroenterology
Job Details:
Gastroenterology coverage needed for weekend call shifts
Coverage required Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM
Call is 24 hours per day and requires weekend coverage
Minimum 6 hours on-site required, typically starting at 7:00 AM
Must be able to cover GI emergencies including ERCP and EUS procedures as needed
Board Certification required
Daily patient volume of approximately 1 patient
NP support staff available to assist with GI coverage
No routine scopes or colonoscopies on weekends; appropriate clinical judgment on resource utilization is expected
