Job description
We are seeking an experienced Gastroenterologist to join our team in a Gastro Hospitalist role. This position involves rotating between multiple facilities. Due to a recent retirement, there is an ongoing need for a full-time provider until a permanent provider is hired. We require a minimum availability of 2 weeks per month if filling the role with two part-time providers. If a full-time provider is available and interested in performing outpatient procedures, this is welcomed. Successful locum candidates may be considered for a permanent position.

Weekday coverage: 8 AM – 5 PM
Patient encounters per shift: 5

Board Certification required
Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days

Trauma Level 2 facility
No Pediatric Emergency Department

Internal Medicine
Gastroenterology
Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy and foreign body removal
Diagnostic ERCP
Esophageal dilatation/manometry
Esophageal manometry interpretation
Small bowel biopsy
Lower GI endoscopy
Flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy
Colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of polyp
