Job Responsibilities
Provide high-quality inpatient care, focusing on all aspects of gastroenterology.
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as upper GI endoscopy, esophageal dilatation, and colonoscopy.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain thorough patient records and communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.
Qualifications
Board Certified in Gastroenterology
Must have completed a GI Fellowship
Current medical license (Active or through IMLC)
DEA certification required
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Working Hours
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Minimum of 14 shifts per month
Skills
Proficient in upper and lower GI endoscopy, including biopsy and polyp excision.
Experience with esophageal manometry and diagnostic ERCP.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment.
