Locums - Tyler, Texas Gastroenterology Opening
Clinical Role
Provide short-term Gastroenterology coverage for inpatient consults and GI procedures, including ERCP and EUS.
Assignment Details
Coverage Dates: 11/5/26 - 11/18/26
Schedule:
Thursday 7:00 AM-Thursday 7:00 AM7-day assignmentInpatient and GI lab coverage Clinical Responsibilities
Perform colonoscopies on Mon-Fri schedulePerform ERCP and EUSEvaluate inpatient GI consultationsPerform additional GI procedures as neededManage assigned and unassigned patients Call
Beeper callApproximately 4-6 patients seenCall ratio: 4:6 Requirements
Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterology - RequiredGastroenterology Fellowship - RequiredActive Texas license - RequiredERCP and EUS - RequiredABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS - RequiredTrauma Level I/IIEpic EMR About Tyler, Texas
