Gastroenterology Opportunity in Urbana, Illinois
$700K Base + Uncapped RVUs
A high-volume hospital-based gastroenterology service in Urbana, Illinois, is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Gastroenterologist to join an established practice built for procedural efficiency. Featuring a 10-bed procedure suite, local ASC access, and swing-room scheduling, this turnkey position offers immediate patient demand and high income potential.
Practice Overview Hospital-based GI service with 10-bed procedure suite and local ASC access
Approximately 80% procedural focus with 10-12 cases per half day
Swing-room scheduling is designed to maximize efficiency and throughput
The GI hospitalist team covers the majority of annual call
Infrastructure in place for IBD, motility, and fellowship involvement
Schedule Procedural-heavy model wrapping most days by late afternoon
Shared call covering inpatient consults and ED needs
Predictable workflow with centralized clinic, procedure, and recovery space
Built-in referral volume supporting consistent case flow
Compensation & Benefits $700,000 guaranteed base salary
Production incentives with established potential exceeding $1 million

Candidate Profile Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
