REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Required Upper GI endoscopy (with biopsy, with foreign body removal, with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), with injection of varices)
ERCP (Diagnostic, Therapeutic, With PEG)
Esophageal manometry interpretation
Small Bowel biopsy
Lower GI endoscopy
Sigmoidoscopy
Colonoscopy (with biopsy, with excision of polyp)
Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
Preferred Esophageal dilatation/manometry (Flexible, Rigid)
Liver biopsy
JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC required (Eligible)
Licenses: Licensed in IN or Universal License (IMLC)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Fellowship: Required
Duties & Responsibilities
Perform upper and lower GI endoscopies, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Manage inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology consultations.
Provide call coverage including weekends (1:3 weekend call).
Overse patient management in clinic setting (1 day/we).
Collaborate with the healthcare team for patient care and procedures.
