Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens assignment providing both clinic and hospital-based gastroenterology services . The physician will perform colonoscopies and EGDs and manage inpatient consultations.
This position follows a 2-weeks-on / 2-weeks-off rotation, providing a balanced schedule while maintaining continuity of care.
Schedule Details:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
7:30 AM 5:00 PM
Day shift
On-call responsibilities required
Clinical Responsibilities Include:
Performing colonoscopy and endoscopic procedures
Evaluating and managing inpatient GI consults
Providing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team
Documenting all encounters and procedures in Epic
The physician will work within a supportive gastroenterology department that includes physicians, APPs, and clinical and non-clinical staff. The average patient volume is patients per day.
