With integrity and accountability at our core, we commit to 'leading with love', embodying our dedication to quality care, education, and a steadfast respect for every individual's contribution to our mission.Job SummaryThe Gastroenterology Technician I (GT I) perform a variety of activities that support the nursing and medical staff of the GI Lab, which includes preparing supplies, equipment, and room for procedures; handling of specimen and cleaning/disinfecting scopes and other equipment according to standards; and troubleshooting equipment appropriately. The GT I demonstrate personal and professional effectiveness.Minimum QualificationsEducation: High School diploma or equivalent.Certifications: a) Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross. b) Certificate: Other certificates as required by unit/service.Work Experience: One (1) year of patient care experience.Special RequirementsCommunication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact)Other Skills: Medical TermsWork Schedule: Weekends, Holidays, Flexible, Overtime, On Call
