Job description
Shift: 1:30 PM-11:00 PM
nHourly Rate: $21.75 an hour
nThe Gauging Station Operator sets up assigned equipment for production startup, coordinating with leads to startup the line, monitoring dough for defects making equipment adjustments as needed to ensure quality standards are met, and tracking line downtime following procedure. You will report to the Production Team Leader. You will work onsite at the Council Bluffs Location.
nEssential Job Functions:
nnnWork the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for position
n
nnRegular attendance to ensure production requirements are met
n
nnRead, write, communicate, and comprehend written instructions in English
n
n nJob Responsibilities:
nnnOverview and ensure gauging station is ready for production startup
n
nnSet control panel and review settings according to scheduled production run
n
nnCoordinate with leads on production startup
n
nnMonitor dough for defects making adjustments to control panel to meet specified standards (e.g., texture, broken, and holes)
n
nnEnsure flour dusters are filled
n
nnEnsure good housekeeping (e.g., sweeping, mopping)
n
nnParticipate in PM, drumbeat, and AM activities as assigned (varying start times)
n
nnWill read a work order and receive verbal instructions from supervisors/leads
n
nnPerform training as assigned
n
nnComplete Centerline and CIL audits and other required audits and paperwork in English
n
n nSkills Required:
nnnDistinguish normal/abnormal operations of the production line
n
nnAnd with others as a team at all levels
n
nnKnowledge of GMP's and safety standards
n
nnBe LOTO certified
n
nnWork with pork, chicken, beef and shellfish products in addition to many other ingredients and allergens
n
nnBe SPC certified
n
n nQualifications:
nEducation: High school diploma or GED.
nExperience Required: Minimum 3 months production or related experience.
nAnticipated Close Date: November 17, 2026
