Job description
Job TitlePay Rate: $14.00/hour - $16.25/hourSummary:Responsible for the assembly and inspection of various parts, subassemblies, fluids, and accessories to build a lift truck.Responsibilities:Assemble lift trucks and components within a specific cycle time.Test, inspect, make adjustments, and reject parts/materials as necessary.Proper care and usage of assembly tools, equipment, and facility; maintain general housekeeping.Ensure safe behavior and operation of equipment.Accept responsibility for the quality of work performed.Proper documentation using the BAM system.Adhere to quality standards.Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.Work safely, perform quality work, be flexible in work assignments, and be available for overtime as required.Maintain work area and participate in developmental programs as identified by the company.Requirements:High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.General knowledge of assembly processes and tools.Ability to read and make decisions from SOEs, OMS, shop orders, operation sheets, prints, diagrams, and instructions.Proficient computer skills.Safety knowledge in a manufacturing environment and proper use of PPE.Familiarity with DFT techniques.Preferred Skills:National Career Readiness Certification is preferred.Additional Responsibilities:Manage time to maintain an acceptable level of attendance.Exhibit willingness to participate in training necessary for developing basic and technical skills.
