Job description

Seeking a full-time, board-eligible/board-certified General Cardiologist to join a top-notch, highly skilled team of cardiologists and cardiothoracic surgeons at the Providence Heart Institute of Montana, located in beautiful Hamilton Montana at Bitterroot Health. Providence is looking for a partner to help grow this imperative program. Join a robust team in an established program serving the needs of a wonderful smaller community. Also, the home of the Bitterroot River, Hamilton is known for its fly-fishing brilliance and is in close proximity to the city of Missoula in desirable western Montana.

Ideal candidate will be motivated, compassionate and have an excellent background in both training and clinical experience

Smaller, rural location to allow for a more independent practice

ECHO, pacemaker, and TEE experience preferred

Desirable 4 ten-hour clinic days a week with minimal call

Working with the Bitterroot Health Team means working alongside some of the most driven, talented, and passionate physicians and care takers. In partnership with the Providence Heart Institute of Montana (ranked one of the Top 50 Cardiovascular programs by Truven Health), it has a 90+ years legacy of caring for all in the Bitterroot Valley. With 14 individual medical clinics, specialty care offerings, a new medical center in Stevensville, and expanded care in Darby. It is at the forefront of bringing care modalities that haven’t previously been offered in the Valley. Its supportive, diverse and exceptional team of healthcare professionals is truly committed to helping one patient at a time.
