Your Opportunity
Appalachian Regional Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Cardiologist to join our established cardiovascular team in Hazard, Kentucky. You will provide comprehensive cardiology services within a supportive, integrated system dedicated to improving heart health across southeastern Kentucky and southern West Virginia.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat a full range of cardiovascular conditions including ischemic heart disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular disorders.
Perform diagnostic procedures such as echocardiography, stress testing, and cardiac catheterization.
Collaborate with electrophysiologists, heart failure specialists, cardiac surgeons, and primary‑care providers.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regional cardiac care programs.
Candidate Profile
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
Experienced in diagnostic and interventional cardiology.
Committed to patient-centered care in a rural/regional setting.
Collaborative and dedicated to improving community health outcomes.
