We employ 13,000 dedicated team members and maintain more than 200 million square feet daily.Job Skills / RequirementsShifts:6AM to 2:30PM2:30PM to 11PM6PM-11PM for Part-TimeJunction City, KS AreaGeneral Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas. General Cleaners perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the facility:Essential Functions:Sweep, mop, dust and vacuumCleaning of restrooms, classrooms, offices, athletic rooms, other rooms and areas of schoolsLow and high dusting of walls, vents, screens, furniture, drinking fountains, light fixtures, window blinds, strike plates on doors and other chrome and interior fixturesWash interior and exterior windows and glass doorsSweep, mop and vacuum entryways and matsEmpty interior and exterior trashcansAssist in set-up for events inside specified rooms as directedNotify management/supervisor of needed repair workNotify management/supervisor of supplies needing replenishedOrganize custodial closets as neededAdditional job-related duties as required by the supervisorJob Requirements:Excellent work history.Team focused approach requiring ability to work with others and take direction.Physically demanding fast-paced environment requiring ability to work efficiently with attention to detail.Reliable transportation.Background check required.Minimum QualificationsEducation: High school degree preferred, but not required.Experience: Previous cleaning experience a plus.Physical and Working Conditions: Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push and pull.Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks with production and service time frames as established by the company.Ability to work with various temperatures extreme from hot to cold.HES is an equal opportunity employer.
