Job description
The Trust for Governors Island is seeking a General Counsel to lead legal affairs for the island's nonprofit operations. You will advise on complex contracts, governance, risk, and regulatory matters while guiding in-house and external counsel.
Reporting to the President & CEO, you will shape organizational strategy, manage real estate, public-private partnerships, and compliance programs, ensuring prudent risk management and strategic alignment with public mission.
