A Smile By Design is a longstanding, community-focused private practice in Dansville, New York, established in the 1960s and led by Dr. Vogler since 2001. We've grown through strong clinical leadership, an experienced team, and a patient-centered approach built on compassionate care, exceptional hospitality, and comprehensive dentistry delivered with comfort and professionalism.
We're a team that values continuity, stability, and long-term growth, and we're looking for a dentist who wants to grow clinically and professionally with us, with a real path to ownership for the right long-term fit.
Compensation & Benefits
Daily Guarantee: Up to $900 per day for the first 6 months, based on experience, or 30% of collections, whichever is greater
Compensation:30% of collections up to $50,000 per month, and 35% of collections above $50,000 per month
Expected Earnings: $275,000–$450,000+ annually, depending on production
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

Schedule
Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Thursday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Every Friday off, no weekends
The Opportunity
This is a full-time General Dentist role with clinical autonomy and mentorship, in a practice with an established, loyal patient base and consistent demand, ideal for a dentist who wants to build toward running a practice of their own.
You’ll practice comprehensive general dentistry, including:
Diagnosis and treatment planning
Restorative procedures, crowns, and bridgework
Extractions and other general procedures
Mentorship is available to refine your skills, expand your scope, and prepare you for long-term leadership or ownership. An experienced clinical and administrative team keeps daily operations running smoothly, so your time goes to patients.
Ownership is the long game here. There’s a clear path for career advancement, including equity participation for a dentist who grows with the practice.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is:
A DDS or DMD from an accredited program, licensed or eligible in New York
New graduates and experienced dentists both welcome
Clinically confident, patient-focused, and collaborative
Open to mentorship and professional development
Interested in long-term growth, leadership, or ownership
