Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated General Dentist to join a growing dental practice serving a broad patient population in Elizabeth City and Coinjock, NC. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive general dentistry services while building long-term relationships with patients in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. New graduates are welcome, and there is potential for practice partnership for the right long-term candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, treat, and educate patients regarding oral health
Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans
Perform general dentistry procedures including fillings, extractions, crowns, bridges, and restorative procedures
Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care
Build long-term relationships with patients
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and other team members
Follow applicable health, safety, and regulatory standards
Stay current with dental technology and treatment techniques
Qualifications
DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
Active North Carolina Dental License required
New graduates are welcome to apply
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Team-oriented approach to patient care
Passion for general dentistry and continued professional development
Interest in building a long-term career with the practice
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation: $176,000-$300,000 annually
Typical daily minimum of $800-$850 + production-based percentage
Full-Time preferred; Part-Time considered
