Job description
Position Overview:
A well-established family dental practice in Virginia is seeking a General Dentist to join their team. This is a community-focused office providing care to both adults and children, with a strong support system and modern technology. Locum coverage is also available while the practice secures a permanent provider.
Practice Details:
Patient Mix: 75% adults / 25% pediatric
Daily Volume: 30 patients per day
Setting: Single-doctor, family-oriented practice
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Clinical Scope:
Bread-and-butter general dentistry, including:Root canals
Bridges and restorative procedures
Extractions
Implants
Opportunity to expand surgical procedures in-house (currently some surgical extractions are referred out)
Technology & Equipment:
CBCT imaging available
Digital workflow with Denticon software, sensors, and scanners
Support & Environment:
Dedicated hygienists and dental assistants
Collaborative, team-oriented culture
Mentorship available (virtual)
Strong community outreach and patient engagement
Patient Population & Insurance:
Serves both adults and children
Insurance mix: 55% Medicaid / 45% PPO
Medicaid Provider ID required
What We re Looking For:
General Dentist comfortable treating both adults and pediatric patients
Experience with a wide range of general procedures
Interest in community-based care and serving diverse populations
Ability to manage a steady patient volume efficiently
