General Dentist - Rochester, New York Location: Rochester, NY
Position: Full-Time Permanent General Dentist
Patient Base: Primarily Adults
Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
An established private dental practice in the Rochester, New York area is seeking a Full-Time General Dentist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dentist looking for a long-term position with an established patient base, experienced support staff, and the ability to provide a broad range of general dentistry.
Position Highlights Full-Time, Permanent Opportunity
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Primarily adult patients , with few pediatric patients
Approximately 8-10 patients per day
Established patient base
Experienced support team
2 Dental Assistants
Office Manager
Treatment Coordinator
2 Hygienists
EMR/Practice Management System: XL Dent
Medicaid and Medicare patients accepted
Opportunity to perform advanced procedures and implants
Case-by-case referral options for procedures outside the dentist's scope
Clinical Responsibilities The ideal candidate should be comfortable providing comprehensive general dentistry, including:
Fillings
Extractions
Root Canals
Basic restorative dentistry
Comprehensive general dentistry
Advanced procedures and implants, depending on experience
Compensation Daily guarantee and/or percentage of collections - whichever is greater
Approximately 30-35% of collections
Compensation structure is negotiable based on experience and production
Sign-on bonus available - negotiable
Relocation assistance available - negotiable
Requirements DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
Active New York dental license
Ability to provide general dentistry independently
Comfortable treating primarily adult patients
Medicaid number is not currently required, although one may need to be obtained
Strong clinical and communication skills
