Job description
Seeking a dedicated General Dentist to join our close-knit dental practice. This role is ideal for a dental professional who enjoys building lasting patient relationships, delivering high-quality comprehensive care, and working alongside a supportive, collaborative team.
What You'll Be Doing
Providing comprehensive dental care to patients of varying ages, including exams, cleanings, and preventive treatments
Diagnosing oral health conditions and developing appropriate treatment plans
Performing procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, extractions, and root canals
Reviewing patient dental and medical histories to guide treatment decisions
Reading X-rays and other diagnostic images to assess oral health
Administering local anesthesia and monitoring patient comfort throughout procedures
Educating patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options
Referring patients to specialists when advanced or specialized care is needed
Collaborating with dental hygienists, assistants, and other team members to ensure smooth patient care
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date treatment records in dental practice software
Following sterilization and infection control protocols in accordance with regulations
Staying current on new techniques, materials, and best practices in general dentistry
What We're Looking For
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
Active, valid dental license in good standing as required by the state of practice
Strong clinical skills across a broad range of general dentistry procedures
Excellent communication skills with patients and coworkers
A patient, empathetic approach that helps put patients at ease
Comfort using dental practice software and diagnostic imaging systems
A professional approach to patient confidentiality and safety
CPR certification, as required
