Excellent Buffalo-Area Locum Opportunity - 3-4 Days/Week - October 2026-January 2027 Zeal Med Staffing is seeking an experienced General Dentist for a locum assignment with a busy, established family and cosmetic dental practice in West Seneca, New York, just outside Buffalo. This is an excellent opportunity for a dentist who enjoys staying productive and performing a broad range of procedures rather than being limited to basic bread-and-butter dentistry. The practice offers modern technology, an experienced clinical team, and an established patient base with a consistently busy schedule. POSITION DETAILS Location: West Seneca, NY - Buffalo Metro Specialty: General Dentistry Assignment: Locum Tenens Coverage Need: Maternity Leave Dates: October 2026 through January 2027 Anticipated Start: Around October 5, 2026 Schedule: Flexible 3 or 4 days per week Patient Population: All ages Practice Type: Established Family & Cosmetic Dentistry WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY STANDS OUT This is not a slow-fill or limited-scope locum assignment. The practice maintains a busy patient schedule and books toward approximately $500/hour in production, making it a great fit for a confident dentist who likes to stay productive throughout the day. You'll also have the opportunity to utilize a wide clinical skill set, including: Crown & bridge Restorative dentistry Root canals Rotary endodontics Oral surgery Implant dentistry CEREC same-day crowns Removable prosthetics Invisalign MODERN PRACTICE + STRONG SUPPORT 4 operatories 2 Dentists 2 Registered Dental Hygienists Experienced clinical support team CEREC same-day dentistry iTero digital scanner 3D panoramic imaging Traditional panoramic imaging Rotary endodontic system Eaglesoft practice management software Practice owner is sedation certified The group operates two locations approximately 5 miles apart, with the clinical team rotating between offices throughout the week. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Competitive Daily Rate Weekly Pay Medical Malpractice Insurance Provided Dedicated Zeal Med Staffing support throughout the assignment IDEAL CANDIDATE We're looking for a dentist who is comfortable stepping into an established, high-volume practice and keeping the schedule moving. Requirements: DDS or DMD Active New York dental license Comfortable treating patients of all ages Able to work effectively in a busy, production-driven environment Broad general dentistry experience preferred Experience with endodontics and oral surgery is a plus EXPERIENCE BUFFALO WITHOUT THE DOWNTOWN COMMUTE West Seneca offers convenient access to the entire Buffalo metro while providing an easy suburban home base for the assignment. You'll be within reach of downtown Buffalo, restaurants, entertainment, professional sports, parks, and the region's outdoor attractions. Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF) is approximately 20 minutes away, making travel in and out of the area convenient for locum providers. INTERESTED?
