Our extensive benefits program, dynamic team atmosphere and strong core values help create the best environment for our staff and the best service for our clients.Company Benefits:Medical, Dental and Vision InsuranceHealth Savings AccountFlexible Savings AccountBasic Life & AD&D401K PlanPTOShort Term Disability & Long TermVoluntary Life and AD&DVoluntary Accident & Critical Illness InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramReferral ProgramFMLAWe are currently looking for a General Foreman to join our team!Job Responsibilities:Reports all near misses and first aids to SuperintendentTake responsibility for crews/subcontractor safety by ensuring each person has the proper PPE and training for working in a safe environmentEnsures crew members are inspecting tools daily and removing tools offside immediately if any are outside of manufacture specificationsCan maintain a clean work area and inspect for tripping hazards dailyConducts daily crew stretch and flex exercisesCreates the Plan of the Day and Hob Hazard AnalysisVerifies equipment inspection logs, such as the forklift, skid steer, boom lift and scissor lift have been completed dailySupervises routine inspections of personal fall arrest systems for wear and tear, and takes damaged ones out of serviceParticipates in weekly site safety audits with Superintendent and Project ManagerEnsures crew correctly installs and maintains site fence, straw waddling, concrete wash out pits, tracking pads, rock sock s and other storm water BMP'sCompletes Weekly Work Plans, forecasts, and ensures job has proper tools and materials two weeks ahead of time and communicates with SuperintendentKnows estimated productivity for each task and can calculate actual productivity, compare it to what was estimated, and adjust meet/exceed productivity goalsEnsures crew is organized: extra materials stored for future use, crew is keeping tool inventory and locking them up dailyTrains others to read blueprints referring to structural drawings, wall types, wall elevations, rebar shop drawings, architectural, mechanical, electrical, lift drawings to verify measurements and details, and stay current with plan revisionsRecords concrete quantities and productivity units dailyCompletes pre-pour & post-pour checklists for each pourCompletes post pour quality control with finishersInspects shoring systems, falsework, and reshoring. Ensures systems are complete, at the correct centers, and in compliance with specifications and drawings.Assists Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent in managing subcontractors.Assists with safety meetings and storm water inspectionsJob Qualifications:Can use a computer to check email, print documents and enter dataAbility to train others in a variety of skill setsHardworking, organized and has a positive attitudeCan take and apply direction from supervisorDisplay good verbal and written communication skills when working with other employeesOSHA 10 hour is a plusAbility to provide their own safety footwearWorkers must have reliable transportation, or be able to access jobsites in any location of the cityPay: The pay for this position is $32.00 - $38.00 per hour, paid weekly.
