Facilities CleanerService Wire Company, a premier supplier of industrial and utility wire and cable, is currently seeking a 1st shift Facilities Cleaner in Culloden, WV. If you are looking to join a great organization and a chance to become a part of our growing team, this may be the opportunity for you!Position Summary:Our Facilities Cleaners support facility operations by performing a wide range of manual tasks to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. This includes distributing supplies, assisting with routine maintenance, and completing general cleaning and painting projects throughout the facility. The role requires safe use of tools, ladders, and floor cleaning equipment, and supports both Facilities and Engineering teams as needed.Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities:Distribution and racking of supplies and parts to various departmentsGeneral cleaning duties to include sweeping, mopping, wiping down equipment as neededPainting fixtures, floor markings, walls, and equipmentSeasonal cleaning indoor and outdoors at facilitiesComplete facilities related projects as assigned by Facilities and/or EngineeringSafely utilize ladders and similar equipmentRegularly operate floor sweeper and clean throughout the facilityAssist with routine maintenance tasksAdditional duties as assignedKnowledge/Skills/Requirements:High school diploma/GED (General Equivalency Diploma) or one year related industrial experience or equivalent trainingAbility to use and care for common hand toolsDemonstrate strong basic math and measuring skillsAbility to read, comprehend, and respond to general instructions, direction, and correspondence, both oral and writtenCooperatively works and interacts with various departmentsRegularly stands, bends, and reaches for extended periodsRegularly moves about the facilityPersonal protective equipment is requiredContinuous participation in company safety trainingPhysical Demands/Work Environment:Work environment is comparable to outdoor temperaturesRegularly stands, bends, and reaches for extended periodsRegularly moves about the facilityRegularly lifts and moves materials up to 50 poundsOccasionally required to move up to 100 pounds by pushing, pulling, or sliding material.
