Job description
Assembler IAssembler I is responsible for fabricating component parts or assembling the finished product according to the customer's specifications. Secures and maintains correct component parts and supplies required for the operation.Principle Duties and ResponsibilitiesCompletes work area setupFits parts together in accordance with prescribed instructions and in accordance with quality standardsOperates hand tools as required to complete the assembly processStacks completed products in accordance with established procedures, and if required, may cover, label, and band components finished productEnsures work area is safe, clean and organized, and that equipment is safe to operateCompletes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems or concernsMaintains a clean and orderly work environmentMaintains production records as requiredChecks materials and finished products to ensure they are compliant with standardsPerforms duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standardsParticipates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetingsPerforms other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma/GED preferred but not requiredNo minimum experience is required however, 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience is preferredWorking knowledge of basic math preferredMust be at least 18 years of ageHourly Pay Range: $17.00 - $19.00 dollars an hour dependent on experience* *pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living Benefits currently offered to our employees: Medical insurance Health savings account with company contribution Dental insurance Vision insurance Basic and voluntary life insurance Disability insurance 401(k) plan with company match Paid vacation and holidays Stock purchase program with employee discount Educational reimbursement Wellness programs and challenges Other supplemental benefits A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
