General Laborer – LandscapingExpress Employment Professionals in Waterloo is seeking a General Laborer – Landscaping to assist a local landscaping crew with a variety of outdoor projects. This position involves hands-on physical work, including shoveling, raking, laying brick, hauling materials, and assisting with general landscaping and grounds projects. The ideal candidate will be dependable, hardworking, and comfortable working outdoors as part of a team.Key Responsibilities:Assist landscaping crews with daily projectsShovel and rake soil, rock, mulch, and other materialsAssist with laying brick and other landscaping materialsHaul materials using wheelbarrowsPerform general groundskeeping and landscaping tasksLoad, unload, and move materials as neededFollow instructions from crew leaders and supervisorsMaintain a clean and safe work areaFollow all safety procedures while completing outdoor projectsQualifications:Previous landscaping, construction, groundskeeping, or general labor experience preferred but not requiredComfortable performing physically demanding workWilling and able to work outdoors throughout the shiftDependable with strong attendance and reliabilityAbility to follow directions and work as part of a crewHardworking, safety-conscious, and team-orientedNo drug test or background check requiredPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel throughout the shiftAbility to shovel, rake, and move landscaping materialsAbility to push and maneuver loaded wheelbarrowsComfortable performing repetitive physical laborAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsAdditional Information:Monday-Friday daytime scheduleOutdoor, physically active work environmentPrevious experience is preferred but not required
