Job description
Leadership Opportunities at Somafina
Somafina is a growing, fast-paced third-party manufacturer of nutraceuticals. We help our customers bring high-quality supplements and wellness products to market — on time, every time — without ever cutting corners on quality or safety. As we continue to scale, we're looking for driven leaders who thrive in a hands-on, high-energy production environment.
We're building a pipeline of strong leadership candidates for our Packaging Supervisor and Production Lead roles across all shifts, with a critical need on 3rd shift. Rather than posting narrow, role-specific listings, we're casting a wider net: apply here, and we'll work with you to identify the leadership role and shift that's the best match for your experience, strengths, and career goals.
Whether you come from a packaging background or have hands-on experience leading encapsulation, weighing, or blending teams, we want to hear from you.
As a Packaging Supervisor, you would:
Oversee daily packaging line operations, ensuring output meets production schedules and customer deadlines
Supervise, coach, and develop packaging line associates
Monitor line performance, troubleshoot equipment and process issues, and drive continuous improvement
Ensure all packaging activities comply with GMP, quality, and safety standards
As a Production Lead, you would:
Lead a team of encapsulators or weighers/blenders through daily production activities
Assign tasks, monitor workflow, and keep production on schedule
Train and mentor team members on procedures, equipment, and safety protocols
Partner with Quality and Safety teams to ensure batches meet specification the first time
What all Somafina leaders bring:
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required for all leadership roles
Prior experience supervising or leading a team in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment
Working knowledge of GMP, quality systems, and safety standards (nutraceutical, food, pharma, or similar regulated environment preferred)
Strong communication and coaching skills — able to motivate a team and hold people accountable
Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where priorities can shift quickly
Willingness and flexibility to work 3rd shift or rotating shifts as needed
A hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic
Opportunity to grow with a company that's scaling quickly
Competitive, experience-based pay with shift differentials for off-shift work
A team culture that values hard work, ownership, and getting the job done right
Direct impact — your leadership keeps products moving safely and on time to the customers who count on us
Ready to lead with us? Apply today. During the interview process, we'll get to know your background and match you to the leadership role and shift where you'll have the biggest impact.
