Job description
ICON Dental is seeking an experienced General or Pediatric Dentist for a locum tenens opportunity in Mobile, Alabama.
Assignment Details
Location: Mobile, Alabama
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: 13 weeks or longer
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Practice Type: Pediatric / DSO
What You ll Do
Provide bread-and-butter dentistry
Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and diagnose dental conditions
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
Perform procedures such as fillings, cleanings, extractions, and root canals
Educate patients and caregivers on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Provide prescriptions as needed
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including X-rays and treatment histories
Refer patients to specialists, such as orthodontists or oral surgeons, when necessary
Follow all safety, OSHA, and infection-control standards
Requirements
DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
Active, unrestricted Alabama dental license or currently in the process of obtaining one
Current CPR/BLS certification
DEA registration
NPI number
Compensation and Benefits
1099 independent contractor
