Job Requirements and Duties
You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations. You must set the example, follow all policy and procedures 100% of the time, and expect the same from your crew.

Qualifications
General job duties for all store team members
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Training Orientation and training provided on the job.
Communication Skills Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions. Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions/Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly.
Proficiency in making correct monetary change.
Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid and accurate movements.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Store Work Conditions
Exposure to
Adverse weather when removing trash and performing outside tasks.
Indoor temperature ranges from 36°F to 90°F or higher.
Fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust.
Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
Hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F.
Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Sensing
Talking and hearing on telephone.
Near and mid‑range vision for in‑store tasks.
Depth perception.
Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Temperaments Direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.
Physical Requirements
Standing most tasks performed from standing position.
Walking short distances on tile or linoleum; surfaces may be ceramic or brick.
Sitting for paperwork at an office desk or table.
Lifting: unloading bulk product deliveries of up to 50 pounds; stacking on shelves up to 72" high.
Carrying: large cans (≈3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (≈30 lb), and trays of dough (≈12 lb each).
Pushing/Pulling trays on dollies; force up to 7.5 lb.
Climbing stairs or ladders infrequently for maintenance.
Forward bending, crouching/squatting, reaching up to 72", and continuous hand tasks such as shaping dough and handling pizza tools.
Delivery Work Conditions
Driving Specific Job Duties
Deliver product by car to customer door.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Requirements
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
Access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
Essential Skills
Navigation skills to read a map, locate addresses within the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
Physical Demands – Delivery
Carrying pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing stairs.
Driving within the designated delivery area; may make several deliveries per shift.
Travel between store, vehicle, and customer locations.
Potential navigation of five or more flights of stairs during delivery.
Work Conditions – Delivery
Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather.
Sensing: Far vision and night vision for driving.
