Job Description
The General Manager is responsible for every aspect of store operations during the shift. This includes cost control, inventory management, cash handling, and customer relations, while setting the example for the crew and ensuring 100% compliance with company policy and procedures.
Job Requirements & Duties
All cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
Staffing, paperwork, scheduling, and food management.
Maintain a perfect store image, adhere to standards, and provide great customer service.
Ensure attendance, punctuality, transportation, and store cleanliness.
Marketing, profitability, and adherence to company policies.
Qualifications
Operate all equipment and stock ingredients.
Prepare product, receive and process telephone orders, and complete inventory paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility regularly.
Strong communication skills – written, verbal, and on the phone.
Basic math – add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly.
Manual dexterity and motor coordination for precise movements.
Computer and touch‑screen proficiency for order entry.
Valid driver's license; access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions
Standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and occasional climbing.
Exposure to varying temperatures, fumes, cornmeal dust, and hot surfaces up to 500°F.
Work in cramped quarters, including walk‑in coolers.
Regular travel for delivery: driving, walking, and navigating stairs.
