Job Overview
This locally owned franchise, operating 21 locations and growing, is looking for an Assistant Manager to lead a team and drive performance. The role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
Lead and motivate the store crew; set a positive example for all staff.
Apply all company policies and procedures 100% of the time and enforce the same standards from the crew.
Manage cost controls, inventory, cash handling, and overall customer relations.
Maintain store appearance and cleanliness, including equipment and walk‑in storage.
Handle paperwork, staffing schedules, marketing efforts, and profit and loss oversight.
Comply with attendance and punctuality requirements and provide transportation to or from work if needed.
Operate all store equipment and assist with food preparation and order processing, both over the phone and in person.
Take inventory, record transactions, and complete associated paperwork accurately.
Qualifications and Skills
Strong arithmetic skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with a calculator.
Ability to provide correct monetary change and perform accurate cash handling.
Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills for interacting with customers and crew.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands for rapid, precise order entry on a computer or touch‑screen.
Basic navigation skills for locating addresses within the delivery area, including multi‑story buildings and private residences.
Capability to adapt to adverse terrain and carry deliveries efficiently.
Prior experience in a supervisory or management position is preferred.
