About the Job
This is a general manager position at Domino's Pizza. The general manager is responsible for overseeing store operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing staff, and meeting company standards.
Responsibilities
Lead and motivate the store team.
Maintain cost controls, inventory, and cash control.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Handle staffing, paperwork, scheduling, and store cleanliness.
Encourage great customer service and brand standards.
Support marketing and profitability initiatives.
Qualifications
Operational experience operating all equipment.
Maintain inventory and prepare products.
Process telephone orders accurately.
Record keeping: take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility regularly.
Undergo orientation and training on the job.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Proficiency in handling monetary transactions.
Motor coordination for fast and precise movement.
Typing or touchscreen input skills.
Essential Functions / Skills
Accurate addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division for order processing.
Cash handling and correct monetary change.
Verbal, written and telephone order processing.
Motor coordination and fine motor skills.
Computer keyboard or touchscreen operation.
Work Conditions
Exposure to various weather conditions outdoors.
Indoor temperature ranges from 36°F to 90°F or higher.
Exposure to food fumes and cornmeal dust.
Work in cramped quarters, walk‑in coolers, and hot surfaces (up to 500°F).
Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Sensing
Television and phone communication.
Near and mid‑range vision.
Depth perception.
Ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.
Temperaments
The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Physical Requirements
Standing for most tasks.
Walking short distances and over stairs.
Lifting: bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds.
Carrying: large cans (3 pounds 7 ounces) and pizza sauce (up to 30 pounds).
Pushing or pulling trays and dollies.
Climbing: occasionally stairs or ladders.
Bending, stooping, and forward reach up to 72".
Squatting/crouching occasionally.
Reaching above 72" to turn on/off ovens, change signs, etc.
Frequent hand activity requiring coordination and strength.
Driving Specific Duties
Deliver product by car to customer doors.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Driving Requirements
Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
Access to an insured vehicle.
Essential Skills (Driving)
Navigational skills: read map, locate addresses.
Navigate adverse terrain and multi‑story buildings.
Physical Demands (Driving)
During delivery, carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing stairs.
Delivery personnel move between store and vehicle and to customers.
