Job description
Are you an entrepreneurial leader looking to run a high-volume manufacturing operation as if it were your own business? We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee a flagship 60,000 sq. ft. full-service processing and distribution facility in Grand Prairie, TX.
In this role, you will hold complete P&L accountability for a facility driving over $300M in annual revenue. We foster a culture of servant leadership, empower our leaders to make decisive operational choices, and offer long-term stability with aggressive growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Direct the facility toward aggressive growth and collaborate with executive leadership on Long-Range Planning.
P&L Ownership: Own the plant P&L; identify cost-saving efficiencies, resolve process bottlenecks, and optimize profitability.
Team Building & Culture: Lead a total workforce of 100+ employees and 7–8 direct reports using a servant-leader approach focused on mentoring and removing barriers.
Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day processing across meat, seafood, grinding, and specialty distribution lines.
Decisive Execution: Make high-stakes operational and staffing decisions to maintain peak production standards.
Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years of management experience, with prior success as a General Manager, Plant Manager, or Director of Operations.
Financial Acumen: Proven track record managing a large-scale P&L ($50M+ required; $100M+ preferred).
Industry Background:Operational background in food processing, manufacturing, or distribution (meat or seafood processing preferred).
Leadership Style: Demonstrated servant-leadership mentality, communication skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and drive the strategic vision of the 60,000 sq. ft. facility toward aggressive growth.
Full P&L accountability; manage plant finances, cost drivers, and operational efficiencies like your own business.
Build, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team of 100+ employees using a servant-leadership approach.
Directly manage 7-8 operational leaders, providing clear direction, development, and support.
Direct daily plant operations across cutting, grinding, poultry, seafood, and specialty distribution.
Partner with corporate leadership on Long Range Planning and footprint expansion initiatives.
Drive acollaborative facility culture centered on safety, employee support, and accountability.
Make decisive, high-stakes operational decisions regarding production schedules and personnel.
Identify operational leaks or bottlenecks and implement proactive solutions to maximize profitability.
Serve as the primary leader on-site, managing facility needs across standard, night, and weekend hours.
