This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee owns a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products, but is a separate company and employer. If hired, the franchisee will be your employer, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is responsible for all employment matters, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing and scheduling. McDonald’s USA has no control over these matters.
Responsibilities
Run a profitable restaurant and ensure it meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
Work with leadership to set restaurant goals and develop plans to achieve them.
Lead a team of Department Managers, setting their goals, following up on progress, and providing coaching and direction to improve each department.
Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong future leadership team.
Maintain high operating standards across all departments to improve overall restaurant performance.
Qualifications
Previous General Manager experience running high-volume locations.
A background in quick-service restaurants strongly desired; experience in hospitality or retail also acceptable.
Must be 18 years or older to manage in a corporate-owned and operated restaurant.
