Job description
Title: General Manager & Director of Sales
Company Summary
A technical distribution business supporting highly regulated manufacturing environments with process equipment, components, and custom-engineered solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop inside and outside sales teams, establishing goals, KPIs, and accountability.
Drive revenue growth, market expansion, and key account development across heavily regulated manufacturing environments.
Develop and execute commercial strategies, while managing strategic customer relationships and supplier partnerships.
Own business performance, including revenue, profitability, budgeting, forecasting, and operating plans.
Align warehouse and distribution operations with commercial priorities while driving process and system improvements.
Build, coach, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and teamwork.
Qualifications
7-10+ years of sales leadership experience, including managing outside sales teams.
Experience selling technical solutions into regulated manufacturing or industrial environments.
Strong business acumen with responsibility for forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance.
Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing commercial teams.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
