Job description
We're a locally owned, family-operated pizzeria in Edmond OK. We're looking for a GM who wants more than a management title, looking to be a member of our growing family. A person who like to see leadership as a way to help themselves and others grow. You will work hands on with FOH and BOH, owners and current leadership to help our restaurant grow.
As a GM you will work closely with the owners to ensure as a team, we deliver great food, consistency, great service and a positive guest experience. We pride ourselves on being part of the amazing Edmond community, and being the best Detroit style pizza around!
Role: Lead the restaurant day-to-day and set the tone for the entire team. Hire, train, coach and retain great employees. Build a strong culture of accountability, hospitality and teamwork. Learn labor and food cost and help maintain and set goals. Inventory management. Maintain high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness and hospitality. Help train shift leads and other management so the restaurant can operate successfully solo. Help drive sales. Creative, help make seasonal bar menus and monthly pizza specials. A GM should also know when they are needed, when to jump in and be helpful, and do so calmly.
We are family owned and not a corporate restaurant, we're looking for someone who wants to become an important part of a growing local business-someone who can lead a small team and help build an even stronger presence in Edmond.
Must be able to obtain and renew an ABLE liquor license. Have reliable transportation and be available in the AM. We will train you, you just need to be willing and wanting to learn.
