ABOUT THE PROPERTY

THE ROLE
As General Manager, you’ll oversee the hotel’s day-to-day operations and lead the team in delivering an exceptional guest experience. You will:
Lead and develop the team by setting expectations, providing coaching and feedback, recognizing performance, and fostering a culture of trust, respect, and collaboration.
Champion the guest experience by maintaining high service standards, addressing concerns, and ensuring guests receive thoughtful, personalized service.
Oversee hotel operations across departments, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance with company standards.
Drive financial and business performance by reviewing daily reports, monitoring performance against forecasts, managing costs, supporting budgeting, and overseeing financial controls.
Support sales and revenue efforts through sales calls, group business, yield management, market awareness, and relationship development.
Make decisions and solve problems by assessing situations, resolving conflicts, addressing operational challenges, and determining effective solutions.
Manage talent and performance including hiring, training, delegation, performance management, and team member development.
Build strong external relationships through guest relations, public relations, community involvement, and partnerships with local organizations.
Plan for the hotel’s continued success by identifying opportunities for improvement, supporting renovations and capital projects, participating in marketing initiatives, and contributing to strategic planning.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for an experienced hotel leader who is hands-on, people-focused, and business-minded. The ideal candidate brings:
2+ years of experience as a Hotel General Manager or in a comparable senior hotel leadership role.
Experience overseeing multi-department hotel operations.
A strong track record of hiring, training, coaching, and developing teams.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial performance, and cost control.
Strong guest service, leadership, sales, and relationship-building skills.
The ability to make sound decisions, solve problems, and effectively prioritize and delegate.
A collaborative leadership style with strong communication and accountability.
The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with guests, team members, business partners, and the community.
