Summary
The General Manager leads all store operations to deliver excellent customer service, achieve sales and profitability targets, and develop a high-performing team. This role oversees merchandising, staffing, operations, and loss prevention while representing the store in the local market.
Responsibilities
Drive sales performance and execute merchandising plans to meet financial targets.
Lead hiring, training, coaching, and performance management for store staff.
Manage daily store operations including inventory, visual standards, and loss prevention.
Create staffing schedules, control labor costs, and ensure operational compliance.
Build strong customer relationships and resolve escalated service issues.
Requirements
Minimum 4 years of retail management experience with progressive leadership responsibility.
Proven ability to lead teams, drive sales, and manage P&L responsibilities.
Strong communication, coaching, and organizational skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and standard business software.
