The Role
We are seeking a General Manager, In-Space Propulsion to lead one of our fastest-growing business units, headquartered in Redmond, WA, spanning Chemical, Electric, and Exploration Systems Propulsion. This is a full P&L leadership role driving strategy, customer relationships, operational excellence, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
Own full P&L: revenue growth, profitability, cost control, and margin expansion
Build and maintain executive-level customer relationships
Drive new business capture and market expansion
Ensure program execution excellence across the portfolio
Champion innovation and long-range technology investment
Build a high-performance, accountable team culture
Lead with integrity, ethics, and a Lean mindset

Basic Qualifications
Senior leadership experience in Aerospace & Defense, with direct P&L ownership and accountability for financial results
Proven track record driving revenue growth, profitability, and margin expansion in complex program environments
Experience leading engineering, manufacturing, program management, or operational organizations
Demonstrated success building accountable, high-performance teams
Bachelor's degree
Active Secret or Top Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the space industry across national security, civil, or commercial sectors
Advanced degree in a technical or business discipline
Background spanning multiple functions — engineering, operations, finance, or program management
Experience navigating and growing businesses during periods of significant organizational change
