Role Description
The General Manager is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Lexington, SC, responsible for building strategy and overseeing daily operations and ensuring outstanding customer experience and business financial performance across multiple South Carolina territories. The role includes managing staff schedules, supervising crews, and coordinating jobs to meet performance, safety, and quality standards. The General Manager will help establish and monitor key metrics, manage budgets, and optimize operational processes to drive efficiency and profitability. This position also involves hiring, training, and coaching team members, maintaining compliance with company policies, and resolving customer issues in a timely, professional manner. Qualifications
Operational leadership skills, including team management, scheduling, and performance oversight.
Customer service and relationship management skills, with the ability to handle escalations and maintain a positive client experience.
Basic financial and business management skills, such as budgeting, cost control, and KPI tracking.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deliverables, and build repeatable systems.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for coordinating with team members, customers, and vendors.
Experience in moving, logistics, home services, or related industries is preferred, but not required.
Ability to work on-site, including occasional extended hours and physical presence during peak periods.
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, operations, or a related field is a plus
