7+ years of progressive manufacturing operations leadership
P&L ownership
Preferred Requirements
MBA or advanced degree
Experience in machining or precision manufacturing environment
Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement leadership experience
The successful General Manager will have full responsibility for the performance, profitability, and continued development of the business unit. This leader will establish the operating direction for the organization while ensuring manufacturing, materials, maintenance, and supporting functions are aligned around common business objectives.
Responsibilities
Take ownership of business unit performance with an emphasis on profitability, operational execution, and sustainable growth
Establish a results-oriented operating environment centered around safety, quality, delivery, cost, and customer expectations
Optimize manufacturing, materials, and maintenance activities to improve throughput, reduce operating costs, and strengthen overall plant performance
Identify and execute opportunities to improve the organization’s competitive position through Lean Manufacturing and process improvement
Translate financial and operational performance into actionable priorities that improve P&L results and support business objectives
