Role Description The General Manager role at Blaze Pizza, LLC is a full-time, on-site position based in Riverside, CA. The General Manager oversees daily restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and adherence to food safety and cleanliness standards. This role leads and develops team members, promotes a positive and inclusive work environment, and ensures guests receive fast, friendly service consistent with Blaze Pizza’s brand. The General Manager manages financial performance by monitoring sales, labor, and controllable costs, and implements local marketing initiatives to drive revenue and traffic. The position also involves training team members on company policies, maintaining operational excellence, and partnering with leadership to meet performance goals and support business growth.
Qualifications
Experience in restaurant or retail management, with proven ability to lead teams, delegate tasks, and create an engaging, inclusive workplace.
Strong operational skills, including scheduling, inventory control, cash handling, and compliance with health, safety, and food quality standards.
Customer service and communication skills, with the ability to resolve issues, support guests, and collaborate effectively with team members and leadership.
Basic financial and business acumen, including familiarity with sales reporting, labor management, and cost control to achieve performance targets.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to stand for extended periods and perform essential physical tasks of restaurant operations.
Prior experience in fast-casual or quick-service environments is preferred; franchise experience and knowledge of local marketing are beneficial.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, hospitality, or related fields is a plus.
