If you think you are ready to be a part of an exciting team, then we encourage you to continue with this applicant friendly, online job application!About the positionThe General Manager is responsible for the entire operation of the facility including but not limited to financial results, processes & procedures, safety programs, employee performance management, hiring, training, etc. In addition, the GM will partner closely with other Senior Managers to help design, implement, and execute growth strategies. As the leader of the facility, the General Manager is expected to lead by example and ensure high employee engagement by promoting a positive culture that aligns with our company values and goals.Job Responsibilities:Ensure safe work environment and compliance with all regulatory requirementsLeading, Managing and Accountability:Leading: Effectively communicate Vision, Company Goals and ExpectationsCoordinate day-to-day operations for a team of 16Hiring/Training: always field a full team and develop 1-2 backups/successorsManaging: Set individual goals, review performance, hold accountable, coachSales and Customer Service:Ensure Customer Satisfaction by consistently delivering IB value propositionEnable the operation to solve customer problems and deliver Battery ExpertiseGrow account base and maximize opportunity from existing accountsOperations:Partner with Accounts Receivable to ensure timely paymentsEnsure Safe work environment in Compliance with IBSA, OSHA, DOT, EPACreate a well-oiled machine: processes in place, followed and continuously refinedContinuously improve operating costs and while maintaining service levelsCarefully manage Consignment Inventory to minimize obsolescencePeriodically Optimize Route Model and minimize cost to serveQualifications & Skills:2+ years managing P&L2+ years previous experience as a General Manager in similar industry (wholesale, distribution preferred)3+ years leading, coaching and mentoring a teamStrong computer skills required including all Microsoft applicationsExcellent communication skills & highly organizedMeticulous attention to detailWhy You Should Apply:Collaborative team-oriented environmentCompetitive salary and benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k), paid time off, employee discounts, etc.Monday through Friday work weekAt Boston Battery Wholesale, LLC, our purpose is to Maximize Our Potential, and this includes you.
