Role Description
The General Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in San Francisco, CA, responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading staff, and ensuring that business goals are met. This role includes managing budgets, monitoring performance metrics, and optimizing processes to support revenue growth and customer satisfaction. The General Manager will supervise department leads, coordinate scheduling, and support hiring, training, and performance management. They will also handle key client relationships, address escalated issues, and ensure that service standards and compliance requirements are maintained. The role requires regular collaboration with senior leadership to develop strategic plans, implement initiatives, and report on operational and financial results.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in general management, operations leadership, or multi-department supervision in a business or hospitality environment.
Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Proven ability to lead teams, including coaching, performance management, staffing, and fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, partners, and team members.
Experience improving processes, and managing projects from planning through execution.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a hands-on approach to resolving operational issues.
Comfort working on-site in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple priorities with attention to detail.
Familiarity with basic HR practices, scheduling tools, and standard office software; experience with CRM or POS systems is a plus.
