Job description
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Hotel General Manager to lead our hospitality team and oversee all aspects of hotel operations. This pivotal role requires a passionate leader with extensive experience in hospitality management, who can drive exceptional guest experiences, optimize revenue, and ensure smooth daily operations. Responsibilities
Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and guest services to ensure seamless functioning.
Lead and supervise hospitality teams, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a motivated and efficient workforce.
Manage hospitality operations budgets, including revenue management, cost control, and financial planning to maximize profitability.
Implement and monitor hotel management systems such as Property Management Systems (PMS) and hospitality reservation platforms to streamline bookings and guest data management.
Uphold hotel guest service standards by ensuring exceptional guest relations, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Develop strategic plans for revenue growth through marketing initiatives, pricing strategies, and optimizing occupancy rates.
Maintain group sales at hotel.
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations while managing human resources activities like hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and employee relations.
Oversee night audit procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting and reconcile daily transactions using multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette.
Requirements
Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervisory responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of hospitality management systems such as PMS and revenue management tools.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively across multiple departments.
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on exceeding guest expectations.
Experience with sales to maintain Group sales at hotel level.
Demonstrated financial acumen in managing budgets, controlling costs, and executing financial operations within a hospitality setting.
Experience with human resources practices including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
Knowledge of hotel guest service standards, property management systems (PMS), night audit procedures, and multi-line phone systems.
Strong managerial communication skills combined with the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.
